This is like the Dynasty Warriors series, but a bit more complex. And when I say 'a bit', I mean it. It's still basically spamming the same combo over and over again.
The thing is - sometimes I like games where I can kind of switch my brain off and romp around like a madman. So this game actually has a place in my game rotation. Mindless yes, simple yes, but a kind of stupid fun. I don't think it will review very well because of the simplicity, but it would make a decent rental or cheap purchase.
