I'm looking for a new apartment (actually, have just found one).

So I'm looking on craigslist.com and find an advertisement for a place. Looks good, cheap price, I contact the owner. So this guy is Nigerian. He's in Nigeria. He can't show me inside the apartment, but I can drive by the outside to take a look. Yeah, thanks guy.

Then, he tells me that the way it's going to work is that I send him the deposit and three months rent. Then he will post be the keys. From Nigeria.

Honestly, is there something in Nigerian culture that makes them think all non-Nigerians are absolute retards who will believe absolutely anything that's printed on the internet ? Assholes.

Anyway, I'm stringing him along to see what he'll do. I claim that I've sent him the money. Let's see what his next play is.

I'm always hearing about these Nigerian scams, but have never experienced one for myself. That's not to say no-one on the internet has tried to scam me, I've received plenty of scam e-mails full to bursting with hilariously broken Engilsh and telling me about the huge sums of money they'd give me if I handed over my bank account number. They were just never Nigerian.

There are actually lots of people who fall for these scams.

Also, Uberman, it is practically an internet past time to string these guys along and fuck around with them. See what crazy shit you can put him through!
