F.E.A.R.: During many parts of the game your character sees visions. There are ghosts and horrors that attack you during these visions. They take up the entire screen and fuck with your head.
Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing: There's an item that, if used on you, flips your screen upside down. That's pretty trippy.
You guys know of anything incredibly trippy in games? There are a few games that REALLY mess with your head. |

| Portal can really mess with your head, like when you put 2 opposite each other then when you look through one you can see your back replicated hundreds of times. Or you put 2 on the floor and drop and object through one and just watch it float. | |

| The classic is of course Psycho Mantis from Metal Gear Solid mindfucking you.
Fatal Frame on the PS2 was good at making ghosts pop up just on the periphery of your vision and scaring the living shit out of you.
Lots of freaky stuff going on in the Forbidden Siren games (also PS2).
Silent Hill, of course, especially the ending of SH2.

| And somehow I forgot possibly the wierdest game ever, Killer 7. Honestly, reviews can't do this thing justice. EVERYTHING is weird, even down to the controls which make it nigh-on unplayable. It's the very epitome of Japanese freaky weirdness. | |

| Mario.
You are a red-dressed italian plummer/carpenter from japan, jumping over turtels to save a princess, eating mushrooms in order to make you grow, with flowers spitting fire on you!
How more trippy does it get?

| Yoshi's Island, when you eat those floating puffball things. Screen starts refracting and you start stumbling. | |

| Eternal Darkness for the gamecube was a pretty trippy survival horror game. It featured a sanity meter (i think thats what it was called). As the sanity meter got lower and lower, bizarre things would start happening: your character would lose thier head randomly or begin walking on the ceiling, the screen would go blank, e.t.c
another one is geometry wars, the music, the colors, pretty trippy i'd say
