Something's happened to my moniter. The only colors it will display are blue and green. Also, anything red is now completely black.

Fuuuuuck.

Has this ever happened to you? Any idea on how I might fix it?

Buy a marker and fill in all the missing colors by hand.

I am a technical retard, as I have mentioned before. Is it a hardware or software problem ? Drivers ?

Not really sure. I don't think it's a problem with the monitor itself, because the moniter menu is still properly colored. I think there may be an issue with the part of the computer the monitor plugs into.

Might have something to do with your graphics card, you could try reinstalling the driver, or system restore etc.

Download some distribution of Linux, put it on a USB drive, and test to see if it's your hardware or if it's your monitor that way.

1) I don't think it's a software glitch.
2) I had the same problem when one of memory blocks on my graphic card fried.
3) Check the card's temperature.

I now know for sure that it's not my monitor. I just plugged in a different one and it's the same issue. I've been attempting to reinstall my drivers, but I'm having a reoccurring issue of this error message popping up:

"The INF file does not contain information about this systems hardware
Setup will abort"

I'll try checking the cards heat and if that's not the problem I'll check art's suggestion if possible.

The card seems to be fine, no exploded bateries or anything. The fan is noisy as always but is working.
