| One of the highest profile games lately,i finished it yesterday,it's a very nice game,f'ing beautiful graphics even not on ulra high, generaly it's a very good game but it has 2 main flaws that kind of weakened the experience and immersion for me: 1.The difficulty curve is messed up -it starts hard, then becomes super mega fucking hard for a few bits (a.k.a the dragon part in the beginning) than hard again then it drops down to easy once you upgrade your quen sign enough than medium than easy than medium than easy again......
2.The main character-Geralt is delivers nothing but bad-ass one-liners with the emotion of a brick .
Anyway,i still recommend it,it's a fun game, even if a little short and despite it's flaws it's very fun (if you're a fan of RPGs obviously) .

| The Witcher was one of those games I wanted to like, but just couldn't. The environments were very pretty and I liked some of the more realistic touches (like how you can only carry as many weapons as you have sheaths for,) but the writing and acting were pretty bad and the combat felt unresponsive and unimpactful. - Plus...:
I found it weird how pretty much every woman you can interact with will jump into bed with you at the slightest provocation, even when it makes no sense. I remember one side-quest in particular where you save a woman from being raped by a gang of thugs, then escort her home while fending off demonic dogs. Then, as a reward for the quest, you can screw. Now, I'm no expert, but I think after an attempted rape and multiple attacks by undead dogs, sex would be the last thing she'd want.
Another woman in the same area, a complete stranger no less, will gladly ride your purple python if you so much as bring her some flowers. What the hell, guys?
So yeah, I doubt I'll be playing the second game, unless it's mostly unrelated to the first.

| I'd like to play it, but there's no way my shitty laptop can handle it. There was talk for quite a while about an XBOX release, but I know a couple of months ago this was nixed. Does anyone know if this is just a delay or an outright cancellation ?
I'm interested in this (and the original which I never played) because it sounds like it's doing something different thematically, even if the gameplay is pretty much standard RPG faire.

Actually they just confirmed (today, in fact) that it will be coming to the 360. Not sure of the exact release date though.

| I saw a review. It looks good, but its not really for me.
And games on my pc generally wont work at all.
And I dont own a 360.
I heard in mentioned review that the difficulty was inspired by demon`s souls, but if its not consistent within the whole game, then I dont see the point of it.
