Trolling IRL

A fair few people I work with are English. They asked me to come with them to an English pub last night to watch England play Slovenia in the world cup.

Despite my parents being English, I am an Australian and thus the natural enemy of English sports teams. So I went along to their English pub. With a Slovenian flag I made at work.

It was glorious. People glared at me from the moment I stepped in. My colleagues were rattled and annoyed. I stood up and sang the Slovenian national anthem (I had to make up my own worlds) in an otherwise silent crowd. I cheered for every Slovenian shot and save. I waved my flag. I was hated.

Unfortunately Slovenia lost, but I stood by my Slovenian bretheren through the whole match. Why ? Because fuck English sports teams, that's why.

By the way, trolling in real life is better known by the phrase 'being an asshole'. But sometimes, it's just the right thing to do.

I did the same thing.
I was doing a social research for my diploma.
In Russia we have 2 main teams: Spartak and Dynamo.
I must admit, i'm not a big fan of football (soccer)) but entered the spartak club during final cup between these 2 teams and started cheering Dynamo.
That was awsome!
So much hatred, furiosity and good old strong language!
But there was a downside.
As it is Russian you can have your ass delivered to you ANYWHERE, EVEN in bank.
That was my freakin fastest run i've ever made!
Thats a big question for me.
Does it woth it, to spend your life for being a fan, fighting for team and doing other fanshit (when the team itself don't give a fuck bout your deeds) (no offence)?
By the way Uber, are you a patriotic person?

P.S. Got lots of interesting research data and passed my diploma.

Not too much. I'm happy to be Australian and I try to keep up with news at home and so on, like the latest change of Prime Minister. But I haven't lived in Oz for the past ten years or so, so it'd be a bit hypocritical to be too much of a flag waver.

Why'd you went there? I live in Slovenia and I hate everything but nature.
