Easter today.
I just got back from Valle de Bravo, a lake resort town up in the mountains. It was pretty good. Lots of drinking and I went on a Ferris Wheel, which is always nice.
It's funny, but Easter is pretty down-played here in Mexico. They're pretty Catholic here, so I thought there'd be more of a hubbub. But there's almost nothing. I haven't seen any rabbits, eggs, chicks, decorations of any kind. There was a parade and I guess religious people go to mass, but apart from that it's been really quiet. Which is fine by me, I hate all that overplayed bullshit at Easter and Christmas.
