Fanfic is the antithesis of my creative problems.

My problem is that I have a bunch of ideas, but I'm fucking lazy with low productive output, so I never get close to producing what I should / could.

People who write fanfic seem to be the exact opposite. They seem to have the time and motivation to write something, but not the creativity to come up with their own ideas so they just crib from pre-existing materials. Perhaps that's unfair, but that's how it seems to me anyway.

This disturbs me on some kind of core level, so I pretty much don't read fanfic on internal moral grounds.
