| Nice review. I like your diction. I liked how H:P looks, but the gameplay killed it all. Gunfights looked like a bunch of herp-derps tried to cock-slap me. One foolish stun-McGod-gun with few different types of ammo (only used during the fight with the robot). I will not touch the puzzles...they are just puzzles. My greatest disappointment was hydrogenizes. I waited for this moment, and what do i get? A gentle wave that cuddles enemies and helps them to move heavy luggage. My ratting: Meh in every aspect except water physics and level design (visual part not functional) P.S. I heard that they are keep redoing H:P. Maybe they will do something this time.

They have been for quite some time. They apparently listen to feedback and fix some balance issues, but that's full of shit. One patch on the XBLA version (called the Pure patch) apparently fixed a whole bunch of issues, but there are so many more, and so many of the design decisions are bad in the first place. You can fix shit controls, remake bad AI, and tweak visual effects. You can't simply release a patch that makes the level design not awful, replaces all the voice actors, adds better guns and combat, and rewrites the plot, narrative, and dialogue.

| I see your point, so does Dookie. He knows that shit from first hands. It's sad, coz I see much potential in this game.
P.S. Story is fuckes up to. I remembered that there is not a single line that explains, why is the main hero afraid of water?

P.S. Story is fuckes up to. I remembered that there is not a single line that explains, why is the main hero afraid of water? I don't think she's afraid of water, just afraid of everything. There was some description I read a long time ago saying that she has hydrophobia, but it doesn't manifest in any way throughout the game. There's a little girl who occasionally whispers when you're underwater, but there isn't enough to make it a special little detail. I would hazard a guess that her little sister drowned or something, but it really doesn't fucking matter.

| Good, funny review. I liked how positive you were.
By the way, is the term "mcguffin" used by many? Cause I only know what it means thanks to Tvtropes.org.

| A game "reviewer" called Yahtzee uses it a lot. He popularized it among some gamers, so a lot of people know what it means. | |

| Yeah it's a good word. I think I also picked it up from TvTropes. | |

Google --> Wikipedia: - Quote :
- A MacGuffin (sometimes McGuffin or maguffin) is "a plot element that catches the viewers' attention or drives the plot of a work of fiction".[1] The defining aspect of a MacGuffin is that the major players in the story are (at least initially) willing to do and sacrifice almost anything to obtain it, regardless of what the MacGuffin actually is. In fact, the specific nature of the MacGuffin may be ambiguous, undefined, generic, left open to interpretation or otherwise completely unimportant to the plot. Common examples are money, victory, glory, survival, a source of power, a potential threat, or it may simply be something entirely unexplained.

| Yea, its that magic thing, artifact, briefcase full of money,stolen painting, source of the big bads power and so on, that the good guy is either chasing, searching for, escorting or protecting.
I would not say that victory or glory is a mcguffin though. It needs to be an actual object or person IMO.
If anyone saw Men in black 2, "the light of zartha" is a mcguffin.
