Well, to say about achivment seriously. If humanity don't destroy itself in future, that will be the greatest achivment.
We are currently in a state of being not destroyed. Does that mean we have achieved not destroying ourselves? Or is it an ongoing achievement? At what point can we truly say we have completely avoided destroying ourselves?
Please clarify.

Maybe if something else destroys us before we destroy ourselves, surviving long enough for said thing to destroy us would be our greatest achievement.
If that makes any sense.

Well to clarify things. It's an ongoing achivment and it must go on. Why? If humanity achives it, then, as Drifter said, someone destroied humanity. If humanity doesn't achive it, then my friends, it destroied itself. But I might take a step back and make another request for achivment. If noone dies from a gunshot or some other violent way for a week, than it will be a good achvment to.

Not enough people are killed.
I don't plan to go on a killing spree, but psychopathic murderers and serial killers are a great population control.
It'd be nice if they were more humane, though.

See? No one cares about Delaware. You weren't even thinking anything about Delaware until you read this post.

FUCK YOU. I've had some good times in Delaware.
Actually that's a complete lie. I have been through Delaware a couple of times, though. Once when I was trying to drive to Atlantic City, which shows how lost I was at the time.
Anyway, man's greatest achievement is the bacon weave. Beware, do not look upon the following pic on an empty stomach or you may gnaw off your own hand at the wrist.
BEHOLD, YE HUNGRY, AND DESPAIR !

I do despair, not because I'm hungry, but because this actually exists. This falls on the monstrosity side of things for me, not the achievement side.

I think guns are the one invention that has been most in use for the longest amount of time.
Well, besides clothing and shoes. But guns are more advanced than those, so I could alter my statement to say: I think guns are the most advanced invention that has been most in use for the longest amount of time.
