| Ōkamiden on WikipediaWhy did you make the sequel to Okami a Nintendo DS exclusive? Oh well, it's still easier to emulate then the Wii or PS3, so I suppose I should be thankful from that perspective (the only system I currently have available is Xbox360). I wonder how it will be now that the original developers, Clover Studio, lost control of the project. The game still retains the original framework of being an action-adventure based on freeze-frame brushing, and the theme of bringing the world back to life also remains. Instead of playing as Amaterasu, you now play as her son, Chibiterasu. The general plot revolves around the children of the previous game's characters. Some new features are a sidekick aspect, where you will have various partners who will help you explore the world and fight, and an associated type of brush. Also, the game will now sense the speed of your stroke. Quick movements will lead to thinner, fainter lines while slower movements will create thicker strokes. The top screen of the DS will be for the traditional game screen, and the bottom screen will be a mini-map. When the player initiates a brush sequence, the top screen will "slip" down to the bottom so the player can use the stylus. Current release date info: JP: September 30, 2010 NA: 2011 EU: 2011 | |

| That sucks balls. Okami was one of the best looking game son the PS2, and I would've thought it'd be ripe for a next gen sequel. Frankly I'm not interested on seeieng a tiny screen trying to impress me with graphics (not that I have a DS). Well, if it's successful at least you can cross your fingers for a proper console sequel. | |

| I was thinking exactly the same thing.
However, every cloud has a silver lining, and in this case, it means that I'll be able to emulate it on my PC, which I wouldn't have been able to if it came out for the Wii or PS3. (I only have a 360) | |
