| What are some movies that you think everyone needs to watch?
Unforgiven is the first thing that springs to my mind. It's better if you've seen other, earlier westerns (especially Eastwood's) but is still a great movie in it's own right. Just be warned: it's sloooow, right up until the last 20 or so minutes.

| The Blues Brothers is the finest movie ever made. Ignore it at your peril. | |

| Its funny, I guess I hardly ever watch those big OMG movies everyone seems to think are amazing. And if I do, I dont like them particulary much.
The godfather? I haven't seen it.
Avatar? I haven't seen it either.
Pulp fiction? I haven't seen the whole movie, I saw the end though. It didnt look too amazing to me.
Fight club? I have seen it, but no, I didnt like it.
Whats the name of that recent film where they go into peoples dreams? Yea, anyway I saw the beggining-it looked OK. But I havent seen the whole thing.
A few movies that I think are OK, and atleast should be have the best scenes watched are:
Watchmen
V for vendetta(Neither are accurate to the graphic novels, but whatayagonnado.)
The matrix 1 and 2 (good fight scenes, good basic idea)
LOTR trilogy for the epicness.

Avatar is only good as a spectacle. The story is inane and the characters are cardboard cut-outs. Pulp Fiction is good, but obviously it's something you need to see in it's entirety. Fight Club I enjoyed but, no, it wasn't that great. The movie you're thinking of is Inception, and I didn't think it was that amazing either. Also, Watchmen is pretty true to the graphic novel.

| Yea, true. At least 400 times more than V for vendetta was. I guess the biggie is that they changed the ending, and they just didnt have enough time to fit in all those minor charachters like the street vendor etc.

| watch the 2006 movie, The Illusionist (Le'Illusioniste). It's a French animation, and despite being French, is an amazingly moving film.
I also thought Big Fish was an excellent movie
and everyone should watch at least a few Miyazaki films (Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, etc)
